Well, you’re at the base of Green Party Falls. Now what? As I said, now the fun begins. Along the cliffline, you will see a narrow gulley that climbs steeply along the face of the cliff. We went up this gulley until we got to the top of the cliff, then we turned like we were heading upstream. The goal was to hit the end of Round Mountain Road. We picked up an overgrown road and followed it to Round Mountain road. It don’t sound like much, but it was thick and steep. There really was no way maintain a straight line. The good news is you get to walk the road for a minute. The bad news is the waterfall you’re going to see is completely covered in downfall. I managed to get one shot of the upper drop. I’ll see if I have better luck when I come at it from below whan I come back and do Noisy Falls. Okay, now off to the hardest past of this hike.
