If you followed my directions to Hornet Falls, you should be standing in Democrat Creek. Since it was the middle of July, we walked the creek to the confluence and headed upstream to where we saw a small tributary entering the Whitewater River on river right. Democrat Creek is on river left. It is thick and unruly on this part, and even though it is less than 0.2 miles to the falls, it will feel like hours. Green Party Falls is a high free-falling waterfall, but the creek is low flow, so unless there has been a lot of rain, which would make the river crossings very difficult, expect meager flow. You should be pretty dirty and sweaty by the time you get here. Now the real fuin begins.
