Below Kings Creek Falls and Warrior Falls on the backside of John Rock, Fawn Branch joins Kings Creek. The confluence is close to the brink of Warrior Falls. There is a waterfall on the lower part of Fawn Branch about the same distance upstream from the conflunce on Fawn Branch and Kings Creek Falls is above the joining of the two creeks. It is extremely thick along the banks but we managed to reach the lowest part of the falls staying primarily on river left. It was a cold January day forcing us to stay out of the water but if it were warming, the creek may have been the easier route. To get here, follow the hike directions to Kings Creek Falls and continue downstream to Fawn Branch and follow it up to the falls. The lower section is about 30-35 feet high and will need decent flow.
