Little Indian Ford Falls is 0.1 miles downstream of Rock Creek Falls, but there isn’t an easy way to get to it that I can provide. It’s just one of those things where you have to pick your way along the best route, keeping in mind that much of the land on river right is private property. Little Indian Ford Falls is very close to the brink of Indian Ford Falls, and extreme caution should be exercised.
Where to park: You want to plan this approach when the gate is open on Canebrake Road, where it intersects Horsepasture Road in Jocassee Gorges. There is a wide area where the road makes a left-hand turn, where we parked to start the hike. The GPS for that spot is: 35.05498, -82.87663.
