Meigs Falls is visible roadside from a parking area on the side of Little River Gorge Road, located at 35.66929, -83.67615. Meigs Creek enters Little River on river left. The pullout is on river right, and the waterfall is stuck back a ways making it hard to photograph from where you park.
Note: You can cross Little River to get closer to the falls. I’m not going to tell you how to go about it, but I can tell you this. The rocks are the slickest I have ever had to deal with, and getting across in low flow wasn’t easy. Just getting down to the river from the pullout isn’t easy. People do it all the time, but it’s not as easy as you would think.
