Kevin mentions this one in his book as the waterfall on Buckner Branch. On a recent trip to Nantahala Gorge, we ended up going whitewater rafting and the place we chose was Wildwater, who operartes the Wildwater Falling Waters Resort across the street. After we were done rafting, I asked them if I could go check out the waterfall. The pointed me in the right direction. They were very nice about it, presumably becasue I just went rafting with them and I asked before driving in like I owned the place. It’s a cute little waterfall, and like so many that have a viewing deck, the deck is placed so that you don’t have a view of anything but the top. There was a worn path to the base. It’s in the middle of their yurt village, hence the name.
