Where to park: The parking for Coyote Falls is on the southbound side of NC107 just south of Silver Run Falls parking. The GPS on the trailhead is: 35.0624, -83.06902.
The hike: A lot has changed since the first time I made this hike. This used to be a borderline bushwhack to get to the falls, but now there is a trail the whole way. The trail leaves from the southbound side of NC107 and follows a mostly level path for half a mile to the falls. There isn’t much to this hike, and the waterfall is one of the nicer ones in the area. Pair this up with a stop at Silver Run and it makes for a nice easy day.
