Yucca Falls is the second of three waterfalls you will come to on this tributary that feeds into Rachel Creek. The Falls takes it’s name from the distinctive Yucca plants someone planted years ago, which can be seen on the steep bank on river left. The entirety of the hike is 3.7 miles and this takes you to all five waterfalls and back out via a old road I happened upon during my visit. If you’re going to Yucca falls, you will likely want to see the remainder of the waterfalls this small area has to offer. All five are within 0.3 of a mile. The brink of Yucca Falls can be seen from the base of Upper Yucca Falls.

The complete hike can be found on the listing for Middle Rachel Creek Falls which is the last of the five falls you will see on this expedition.
