Chub Line Falls is the next waterfall downstream from Wintergreen Falls but there is more than 2.25 miles of river walking and logging road between the two. I was surprised by this waterfall maybe more than any other on the hike. I had no idea how nice this one was going to be. The falls is named after the Chub minnow which could only make it this far up the Toxaway before being stopped. Located between the distant Wintergreen and the close-by Step-Around Falls, Chub Line Falls is the last true waterfall on this hike which is recapped here The Toxaway River Shuttle.
