Getting to the base of Wintergreen Falls was the hardest part of the hike and avoid any unnecessary bushwhacking, we opted to swim across the pool instead of going around. Wintergreen is located between Upper Wintergreen Falls and Chub Line Falls but while close to the upper, it is a long way from Chub Line Falls.To read about the hike, see The Toxaway River Shuttle.
