For about eleven minutes back in 2019, Hurricane Creek Falls was on The 500 List, and it’s presenece happened to coincide with my coming down the home stretch. Sassafras Ridge Falls is something you pass on the way, and I think it is much nicer than Hurricane Creek Falls. It’s not easy to reach. For the hike to Sassafras Ridge Falls see the Hurricane Creek Falls Hike. Not a bad looking waterfall for something that almost no one will ever see.
