Parking: Parking for Pristine Falls is roadside on Fall Creek Road at 34.82106, -83.24991. This is 0.1 of a mile from the trailhead for Andrew Raimey Falls and the others on the North Fork Fall Creek. Pristine Falls is on Fall Creek, above the confluence with North Fork Fall Creek.

The hike: There are two ways to Pristine Falls. The approach depends on what you want to see. I’m going to give the direct route to the falls, versus making it a loop with the waterfalls on the other branch, and the ones below the confluence, all the way down to the Chattooga River where Fall Creek ends at Final Falls. There are seven named waterfalls between the two branches of the creek. Pass the gate at Fall Creek Road, and pick up the old road as it heads downstream. The grade is pretty tame and the road is easy to follow. You can hear the falls when you pass the top of it on the road, but continue downstream a short ways to clear the cliff near the falls. Half a mile from the gate, look for a spot to drop off the left side of the road. I left the road at 34.82233, -83.25714. It’s not that steep, and once you leave the road and get closer to the creek you can start to aim upstream.
