Chestnut Cove Branch Falls is a long slide on North Harper Creek just above where Chestnut Cove Branch comes in on river right. This waterfall is not on Chestnut Cove Branch as the name night imply.
The hike: Start at North Harper Creek Falls and take the trail back to where it came down the switchback and follow it through the open area heading downstream along North Harper Creek. In a tenth of a mile the trail will cross the creek to river left and a tenth of mile from the crossing, a side trail breaks off the North Harper Creek Trail, heading down toward the creek. The GPS on the split is 36.00335, -81.83907. It is about 100 feet to the base of the falls but to get a good picture you will need to cross the creek toward the high rock wall.
