Laurel Falls (also known as Trashcan Falls is located on Laurel Creek a short distance upstream from US321. There is a parking area on the right 0.1 of a mile past Laurel Creek Road. The hike is on the other side of US321, not the side with the Watauga River. The trail to the falls is easy to follow.
