From Highlands heading toward Horse Cove Road, make a left at the traffic light to stay on US64. Follow US64 around a third of a mile and make a right onto Chestnut Street. At 0.4 of a mile the road splits. Go to the right onto Big Bear Pen Road. This gravel road will head up the mountain and when it reaches the summit it will connect to the loop road that encircles the top of the mountain. At the fork where the loop starts head to the left. The falls will be off to your left but you won.t be able to see it until you reach the open area between two houses. There is hardly any room to pull over so use commonsense. The road doesn’t see a ton of traffic but it does serve the homes on the top of the mountain.
