Grassy Creek Falls is a high roadside waterfall near Lake Glenville, just over ten miles from US64 and NC107 in Cashiers. To reach the falls take NC107 North from the intersection with US64. At 10.3 miles you will pass a covered bridge on your left. As the road swings into a right hand bend just beyond the bridge you can see Grassy Creek Falls tumbling down the exposed rock on the left side of the road across the river. There is nowhere convenient to pull off so you may have to get creative. I parked upstream of the covered bridge and walked down to the falls. If you do this use caution. You’ll be walking into a blind turn with oncoming traffic racing past.
