After the disappointment of the lower falls, the upper falls did little to alleviate the mood but I can say I was here and I have the pictures to prove it. As i described it on Facebook, here’s the upper falls, if you’re not sure what I’m talking about, it’s the big rock damming up the creek.

From the lower falls, stay on river left as the grade ascends. The woods are very open and there is a old logging road that led most of the way to the upper falls. The falls is about 10 feet with as cascade below. The falls is at the 3950 elevation, which is about 300 feet below where the MST crosses the creek. I know this because I hiked up the MST to locate myself.
