When I set off to explore the two waterfall on Thompson Ridge, I approached it begrudgingly as one of those hikes I was going to do only for the sake of knocking them off the Kevin Adams 500 list. After such bushwhacking gems as Cradle Falls and No-Name Cove Falls I had it set in my mind that I was going to be getting scraped up making my way to a giant wet rock with a dribble of water, covered in downfall and guarded by fields of stinging nettle.
