McCall Mill Shoals is a roadside waterfall not too far off of US64 between Brevard and Cashiers. To reach it, follow US64 West from Brevard and turn right onto Silversteen Road. This it the road next to Bear Tracks. Follow Silversteen Road for 0.6 of a mile and make a left onto Golden Road. The falls is 0.3 of a mile up on the left hand side. Before you get too excited, the falls is very nice. From what I could see from the roadside vantage it was probably 30-50 feet high. Sadly there is no way to get to the base since the land is private and making matters worse there is a partially burned out double-wide trailer and the expected debris field sitting close to the base of the falls. I had to take my shots form the top of the driveway.
