The hike from the third to the fourth waterfall is around a quarter of a mile on a fairly rocky and steep section of the trail. While the runoff from the third waterfall dribbles over the trail, the water falling from the fourth falls lands on the trail. The 30 foot high free-falling waterfall is reminiscent of Moore Cove, with a large rock house behind the falls. At the base of the falls a jumble of boulders lies on the trail. Getting past the falls to reach the summit requires navigating these wet rocks. On my August 2018 trip, the shower-like waterfall was a welcome relief after a steep uphill ascent. After cooling off under the falling water, we had nearly two more miles to reach the summit! This thirty foot high waterfall was my favorite by far.
