Maybe two tenths of a mile upstream from the first waterfall, the second Waterfall on the Pinnacle Mountain Trail is tucked off the left side of the trail (on your way up) at the end of a short spur path. The waterfall is covered in fallen logs and at most ten feet high. It is along a part of Carrick Creek that is all but one long waterfall. With a round trip of less than half a mile, this waterfall is easy to reach. After this side trip, the hike is going to get steeper and longer to reach the Third Waterfall on the Pinnacle Mountain Trail.
