Brooks Creek Falls is a roadside waterfall in Highlands that can be combined with Chasm Falls and Picklesimer Rockhouse Falls which are both nearby. If you add in The Waterfall on the Tributary of Brooks Creek, you can add a few to your list in an afternoon. The view of Brooks Creek Falls is roadside but you can do some exploring and get a better view by getting out and moving closer.

To reach the falls from Highlands, follow NC28 South for 2.1 miles from the split with US64 and make a right onto Clear Creek Road. Remain on Clear Creek Road for 1.2 miles and make a right onto FR367. The waterfall is 2.5 miles down this unpaved forest road. If you’re coming from the other direction, as in from Chasm Falls or Picklesimer Rockhouse Falls, FR379 runs into FR79. If you’re coming to the falls from FR79. the right onto FR367 is 2.1 miles from NC28 and the waterfall is 2.25 miles from the junction of FR367 and FR79.
