Home     Alphabetical Listing     Numerical Listing     Location Listing     SC Waterfalls

Located south of Greenville, Cedar Falls is a 12 foot waterfall below a dam. The falls spans the entire Reedy River with a narrow passage on one side of an island and a wide cascade on the other side.

From I385 South of Greenville, take the Fairview Road exit and head south. Follow Fairview Road for 5.8 miles to Mckelvey Road and make a right. Stay on McKelvey Road for 3.0 miles to Cedar Falls Park. There are two parking areas, the upper one is by a picnic pavilion and a playground. The closer one to the falls is further down the road on the left.

From the parking area, walk toward the river and head upstream. Don’t read too much into the pictures. After moving to Greenville it rained most every day so the water was way up. Normally the falls looks nothing like this.
