Hike Directions: You’re going to have to hike the Upper Whitewater River downstream from the upper access off Heady Mountain Road. This is the first waterfall upstream of the river crossing and to get to it, you’re going to have to creek walk upstream. The bottom is tricky and slippery but manageable. Once you get close you can climb onto the river right bank and move closer but to get in front you’re going to have to get wet. Most people won’t bother with this waterfall. Of our group of seven, only myself and one other adventurer did the upstream walk. I’m glad I did!
