Upper Brenda Falls is 0.1 of a mile or so from Brenda Falls, and while not something you’re going to pick as a destination, getting to it from the waterfalls below isn’t very hard. The waterfall was nice, but poking around upstream, there are some unusual stone piles all over the hillside. The formations and locations hint at a homestead at some point in the past. They don’t resemble collapsed fireplaces, but rather the remains of walls or enclosures.
