The Waterfall on Sweet Branch is located along NC28 between Fontana Dam and the Twenty-Mile Ranger Station. Sweet Branch is visible 4.4 miles from the entrance road to the ranger station if heading toward Fontana. The waterfall will be on your left. If you’re coming from Fontana, the waterfall will be on your right shortly after passing the Lewellyn Branch Lake Access. The lighting was brutal on my visit.
