Charleys Creek Road

Serving as a connector between NC215 and NC281, Charleys Creek Road provides access to half a dozen waterfalls nice waterfalls and some smaller ones as well. End to end the road is 10.7 miles with numerous hiking opportunities. None of the hikes are very long but several involve creek-walking and creek-crossings. September of 2018 was my first trip to the area and Gage Creek Falls quickly became my favorite in the area. All of the falls are nice and offer hikes of varying difficulty.
