Hike Directions: You’re going to have to hike Bonas Defeat to get to it and you will have to get past Grandmas Kitchen Falls as well. I headed up the sloping face of Grandmas Kitchen Falls and hopped the creek at the top. It looked to be the easiest way and it kept me out of the woods. You will wade in front of Talus Cave Falls and pass above Grandmas Pantry Falls along the way. You will also have to navigate an area of the gorge known as the ‘conundrum’. You will have to pass Bonas Defeat Falls. We did this by crossing to river left from the viewing area below and scaling the rocks on that side. After getting upstream of Bonas Defeat Falls you will pass Doe Branch and Slickens Creek. Once you get above these two tributaries, the waterflow becomes really meager. With only a trickle coming past the spillway gates, Doe Brnach and Slickens Creek supply a lot of the water downstream. As a result the next waterfall up the river, seriously lacks waterflow. Sadly, this would be an amazing waterfall with a touch more water. I couldn’t find a name for this one so for now it’s Terrace Falls.
