Hike Directions: You’re going to have to hike Bonas Defeat to get to it and you will have to get past Grandmas Kitchen Falls as well. I headed up the sloping face of Grandmas Kitchen Falls and hopped the creek at the top. It looked to be the easiest way and it kept me out of the woods. Talus Cave Falls is the third waterfall heading up the river but you have to pass it and work your way back downstream to get to the second waterfall on this hike, Grandmas Pantry Falls. While not the biggest waterfall on the hike, Talus Cave Falls is the most unique. A pile of enormous boulders form a cave and at the upstream end of the cave, the river pours through an opening in the boulders, leaving this waterfall inside a cave. The current coming out of the cave is strong and the rocks are slippery.
