Eastatoe Falls is located on private property just outside of downtown Rosman, NC. As of my most recent visit in June of 2015, the property owners were still allowing visitors. I have since heard that they have began to limit access in response to visitors allowing their dogs to run free on the property and the constant littering. I’m not sure if this ban is still in effect but if the ban is in effect, it is a very sad development but this is a decision I respect and understand.

Several waterfall sites that I frequent have either taken down their directions to the falls or not posted them. Due to the situation with those that don’t respect other’s property, I’m going to refrain from posting directions at this time since I don’t know the current status of the falls.

What I will say is this 50 foot waterfall is amazing and the setting is great. The hike is less than 0.2 of a mile.
