This is a sequence of shots taken at High Falls on the West Fork of the Tuckasegee River on 08/25/2018 after a scheduled dam release from Glenville Lake. The dam release was scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. with the water reaching High Falls shortly thereafter. This was the final release of 2018. My first release was the initial release in 2017. The planned release lasted for approximately 6 hours, ending at 4 p.m. My vantage this year was on river left atop a large boulder. After the final shot, the wall of mist overwhelmed my vantage.
